Weekend

Today Dave played basketball in a tournament with our friend Shawn.  They lost both of their first games, so they were out of the tournament early. 
I walked to Ibirapuera park when Shawn picked up Dave. The park was very full today with the good weather.
I also had a lesson with Shawn & Nancy's Portuguese teacher, Cecilia.  She was here to teach me the basics - like how to communicate with the Portiero, ask for things in the store, and how to talk to waiters.  We took Portuguese lessons in Michigan, but our last class was several weeks ago, and our Portuguese skills are rusty.
We decided to try the local church tomorrow (which will be in Portuguese).  We'll see how well that works.  Maybe it will help with our Portuguese skills!
